-very controversial point - Satan's tool of division
-this event in Christian history is all about unity
"Spiritual authority is backed by Scriptural authority"
ch. 1-2 Peter references Old Testament four times
*Warning: a lack of discernment comes from not being grounded in Scripture
-Spirit would never lead someone to do something opposed to scripture
-Knowing scripture and not doing it is more our position (grieving, quenching, suppressing)

b. Unity and declaration, Confidence and focus
c. Ears, heart, mouth and transformation

"The Spirit isn't in last place because he's the third person of the Trinity."
-they were devoted to teaching, fellowship, breaking bread and prayer
-they were glad, had generous hearts, selling possessions and giving it away
