Life with God

December 24, 2024 - January 5, 2025

The obedience of Christ is linked to our worship of Christ

As we celebrate the coming of Christ into the world, the Church celebrates a Savior who gave complete and perfect obedience. To live the fullest life with God is to live with full obedience to God. Even though Jesus in His infancy could not perform what the Law required, His parents performed it for Him. The One of whom the Angels sang is the One who was then presented to God in accordance with the Law. He also is the King that the Magi worshiped as a young boy. Without this obedience we have no salvation - ,but because of His faithful obedience we, too, can worship the living God and enjoy LIFE WITH GOD.

The focus of this brief three part series “Life with God” will be on the link between the obedience of Christ and our worship of Christ. Hebrews 5:8-10 can be a guiding light to the series:

“Although he was a son, he learned obedience through what he suffered. And being made perfect, he became the source of eternal                      salvation to all who obey him, being designated by God a high priest after the order of Melchizedek.”
