Philippians 3:14 “I press ONWARD toward the goal for the prize of the UPWARD call of God in Christ Jesus.”

Our Christian Ed theme for this year implies the hard work of learning and studying God’s Word, becoming followers of Christ and discipling young and old toward these goals. We at Durkeetown want to begin at the very youngest ages to assist godly parents in the training of their children, teaching them the whole counsel of God and His Word as one big story all about Him and His unrelenting love for us: a love that implores us to follow Him with our heart, soul, mind and strength - ALL THAT WE ARE - fully committed to God, His Word and the Church at Durkeetown.

We offer in Sunday School:

PreK-K: taught by Vicki and Taylor Slate

1st. - 6th. grades: taught by Jude and Tess Armstrong

Adult class offerings (September - December 2026):

Philippians - a family story (Co-Ed class) team-taught by Stephen Armstrong, Brian Herrick and Matt Vestal

Abide - 1, 2 & 3 John study (Women) facilitated by Rhonda Prater and taught by Jen Wilkin

You are invited to join us as we venture ONWARD & UPWARD toward the call of God in Christ Jesus!
