Soup Kitchen
"Serve them as you'd serve Jesus if He came through the Open Door."
On the fourth Saturday of each month Durkeetown Baptist Church volunteers serve meals at the Open Door Soup Kitchen in Glens Falls. Their duties include warming the main dish, preparing salad and side dishes and setting out dessert. Those serving also interact with the guests by sitting and eating with them.
One way to help is to pray for gospel fruit! By seeking divine appointments and meeting individuals at their point of need, the hope is that Christ will be seen in their service and souls won to His Kingdom.
